This restaurant is situated on 1st floor of the Oyster Building, Khader Nawaz Road, Nungambakkam. Mamagoto is well known for its Pan-Asian fusion, which provides different flavours of Asian cuisines. The restaurant is well-organised and is spacious.

This restaurant has a beautiful and enchanting ambience. It has attractive walls, with designs inspired by Manga, which are Japanese comics. It has a beautiful mocktail bar which is equipped with beautiful jar lights. The restaurant was so hygienic, as there was not a single spot of dirt.

CHEESY TACOS (VEG): Served with goat cheese, decorated with breadcrumbs, mango sauce, kimchi and mint on the bed of tortilla bread glazed with chilli mayo sauce and taco sauce. This became my favourite dish.


AUNT’S VEG PLATTER: An amazing veg platter, served with 2 tempting skewers tofu satay with peanut sauce, fried corn balls with sambal sauce, fried spring roll stuffed with cheese and asparagus with gyoza sauce.


CHICKEN BASIL CUPS: An aromatic mixture of finely minced chicken, basil, bird’s eye chillies, crushed pepper wrapped in lettuce greens.

DIM SUM PLATTER (VEG): A dish consisting of pieces of dough wrapped around a filling of different veggies, served with 4 traditional Thai sauces, made by some secret herbs.

SPICY BANKOK BOWL WITH STEAMED RICE (VEG): It is a signature bowl, containing minced veggies like corn, zucchini with Thai spices and herbs on a bed of steamed rice with potato wedges and a basil leaf on the top, for a twist.

MAMA’S HOME-MADE CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH ICE-CREAM: A 2-layered chocolate cake filled with liquid chocolate for making it more tempting, served with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.

HOME-MADE “AMERICAN STYLE” CHUNKY CARAMEL SPONGE CAKE: A warm caramel sponge cake server with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, with toffee sauce to increase its sweetness.

CRANBERRY AND KAFFIR LIME PUNCH: A refreshing mocktail prepared with cranberry juice mixed with lime wedges and kaffir lime leaves.

RICE CRACKER ON THE HOUSE (VEG): An amazing Japanese dish, made of rice, served with 2 different sauces. This is a complimentary dish served for every guest.

COCONUT WATER WITH ORANGE COOLER: A refreshing and chilled coconut water mixed with orange flavour, served in a coconut.

TOM YUM SOUP (CHICKEN): A traditional Thai hot and sour soup. Loaded with diced chicken breasts, mushrooms and some herbs like lemongrass, galangal and kaffir lime leaves, making it healthier than any other soup.


CHINESE SOUR & PEPPER SOUR (VEG): A Chinese hot & sour soup. Loaded with 22 ingredients including green onions, lemongrass, cabbage, carrot, green chillies, which gives it a spicy twist.

A beautiful restaurant, having attractive ambience and serving delicious food. The presentation of each and every food item was excellent, and the quantity was more than enough. The restaurant was hygienic. Staff was very courteous, polite and well-trained. The service was quick and the food served was warm(except ice-creams and mocktails) and fresh. The food is economical as per the presentation, taste, quality and quantity. I will recommend this restaurant for any foodie or any group for the celebration of birthday parties and other gatherings. Even I would like to come to this restaurant again.
